- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Mix the remaining granulated sugar and cinnamon for topping, then sprinkle it over the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
