- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Combine water, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat until boiling.
- Add flour, stirring continuously until the dough pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Stir in eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Fill a piping bag with the churro dough and pipe bite-sized pieces onto parchment paper or directly into the air fryer basket.
- Spray churro bites with cooking spray and air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl for coating.
- Toss the warm churro bites in the sugar-cinnamon mixture until fully coated.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with chocolate sauce or caramel for dipping. Store in an airtight container for up to two days at room temperature or a week in the fridge. Reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness.
