French Dip Sliders

A fun twist on the classic French dip sandwich with juicy roast beef, melty Swiss cheese, and sweet caramelized onions served in soft slider buns.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound roast beef
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup au jus for dipping
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice slider buns in half and place the bottoms in a baking dish.
  3. Layer roast beef on top of the buns, then add caramelized onions and Swiss cheese.
  4. Place the tops of the buns on the sandwiches.
  5. In a small bowl, melt butter and mix with salt and pepper. Brush this over the slider tops.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  7. Serve with warm au jus for dipping.

Notes

Use fresh roast beef and high-quality slider buns for the best flavor. You can customize the cheese and add sautéed mushrooms or roasted peppers for extra flavor.
