Ingredients
Scale
- 6 slices of bread
- 1 cup thinly shredded cheese
- 6 thinly sliced ham (optional)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Instructions
- Trim the crust off the bread.
- Roll the bread flat with a rolling pin.
- Add the shredded cheese on top, and optionally add ham.
- Roll the bread tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Heat a skillet over medium to medium-low heat and add butter.
- Place the roll-ups in the pan and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, turning periodically until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and cut in half if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
