Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup cheese (provolone or cheese whiz)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for sautéing
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Place cheese on top of the beef mixture, allowing it to melt.
- Toast hoagie rolls briefly.
- Fill each roll with the beef and melted cheese mixture.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Use fresh hoagie rolls for the best taste and texture. Add bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor if desired.
