Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch in a bowl.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix together the honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger in another bowl.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and stir to combine.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot over rice.
Notes
Pairs perfectly with white rice or fried rice. You can add steamed vegetables on the side for a complete meal.
