Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and shredded coconut.
- Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed pineapple.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving.
