Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and milk, and mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in the sausage, cheese, and beaten eggs.
  5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut it into sections.
  6. Roll each section up tightly and place it in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure not to overmix the dough; mix it just until combined. You can experiment with different types of sausage and cheese.
