Schezwan Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Capsicum
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Carrot
  • 2 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • Coriander Leaves for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Add oil and chopped garlic to a pan and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Include chopped onion, capsicum, and carrot to the pan.
  3. Cook the vegetables for two minutes.
  4. Add Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar to the pan. Mix well.
  5. Now, add the cooked rice, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix everything well and cook for 2 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Notes

Use day-old rice for better texture and adjust the spice level with Schezwan sauce as needed.
