Ingredients

- 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
- 1 can of frosting (any flavor)
- 1 package of candy melts (white or colored)
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Chocolate chips or other toppings (optional)
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
- Mix in the frosting until well combined.
- Roll the cake mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
- Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it into a cake ball.
- Dip each cake ball into the melted candy, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place on parchment paper and add sprinkles or other toppings before the coating sets.
- Let the pops cool completely and enjoy your homemade birthday cake pops!
Notes
For a fun presentation, serve the cake pops on a bright platter or in a mason jar. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
