Strawberry Sago

A delightful dessert combining chewy sago pearls with creamy coconut milk and fresh strawberries, perfect for hot weather.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add sago pearls. Cook them until they become translucent. Once done, drain the pearls and rinse them with cold water.
  2. In another pot, combine coconut milk and sugar. Heat this mixture until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add the cooked sago pearls to the coconut milk mixture and stir well to combine.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly, then gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
  5. Serve the dessert chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days. Stir well before serving again.
