- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 200ml heavy cream
- 50g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
- Cut the sponge cake into thin layers or prepare ladyfingers.
- Quickly dip each piece in the cooled brewed coffee, ensuring they are moist but not soaked.
- Arrange a layer of coffee-dipped cake or ladyfingers in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the layer.
- Repeat with another layer of dipped cake/ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Dust generously with cocoa powder.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture and flavor.
- Slice and serve chilled.
