  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

 

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  • Cut the sponge cake into thin layers or prepare ladyfingers.
  • Quickly dip each piece in the cooled brewed coffee, ensuring they are moist but not soaked.
  • Arrange a layer of coffee-dipped cake or ladyfingers in a dish.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the layer.
  • Repeat with another layer of dipped cake/ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  • Dust generously with cocoa powder.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best texture and flavor.
