Ingredients

  • Dill pickles (or any type of pickles)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Oil spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the pickles into chips.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, combine cornmeal and bread crumbs.
  5. Dip each pickle slice first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the cornmeal mixture.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  7. Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Spray lightly with oil and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
