- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the bananas until smooth in a mixing bowl.
- Add softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar; mix until well combined.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until mixed.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use very ripe bananas and avoid overmixing the dough.
