- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
- Stir in garam masala, cumin, and paprika, and cook for another minute.
- Add cubed chicken and cook until browned.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in heavy cream and season with salt. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in yogurt and spices for a few hours. Adjust the amount of heavy cream for richer sauce.
