Classic No-Bake Cookies

Quick and easy no-bake cookies made with chocolate and peanut butter, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

  • ½ c salted butter
  • ½ c milk
  • 1 ½ c white sugar
  • ½ c brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • ½ c creamy peanut butter
  • 3 c quick oats
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 4 T unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 dash cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. Combine First 4 Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, milk, white sugar, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Boil the Mixture: Allow it to gently boil for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from Heat: Take the saucepan off the heat.
  5. Add Remaining Ingredients: Stir in cocoa powder, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  6. Add Oats: Quickly add the oats and stir until coated.
  7. Form the Cookies: Drop spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Let Set: Allow to set for 20 to 30 minutes at room temperature.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
