  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the tostada shells on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes until crispy.
  3. Mix the shredded rotisserie chicken with your choice of seasoning (optional) in a bowl.
  4. Spread a layer of refried beans on each tostada shell.
  5. Top with the shredded chicken, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  6. Return the tostadas to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, avocado slices, and cilantro.
  8. Add hot sauce if desired and serve immediately.
