- 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- 8 tostada shells
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the tostada shells on a baking sheet and warm them in the oven for about 5 minutes until crispy.
- Mix the shredded rotisserie chicken with your choice of seasoning (optional) in a bowl.
- Spread a layer of refried beans on each tostada shell.
- Top with the shredded chicken, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
- Return the tostadas to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, avocado slices, and cilantro.
- Add hot sauce if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftover components separately for best freshness. Reheat tostadas in the oven to restore crispiness.
