- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons French mustard
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Brown the chicken thighs in the oil for about 5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the chicken and add chopped onion and minced garlic to the same pan. Cook until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in French mustard and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the pan, cover, and cook for 25-30 minutes on low heat until cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For deeper flavor, marinate chicken in mustard, salt, and pepper for a few hours before cooking. Use Dijon for a spicier kick, or whole-grain mustard for added texture.
