French Mustard Chicken

  • 2 tablespoons French mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown the chicken thighs in the oil for about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the chicken and add chopped onion and minced garlic to the same pan. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  5. Stir in French mustard and heavy cream, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Return chicken to the pan, cover, and cook for 25-30 minutes on low heat until cooked through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate chicken in mustard, salt, and pepper for a few hours before cooking. Use Dijon for a spicier kick, or whole-grain mustard for added texture.
