  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, egg, salt, pepper, and cumin in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl for tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Make sure to drain the grated cucumber well to avoid watery tzatziki. Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
