- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: vegetables like carrots or peas
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef with the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Combine the browned beef, diced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
