- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups vanilla wafers
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- In a serving dish, layer vanilla wafers, a layer of the mascarpone mixture, sliced bananas, and drizzle with caramel sauce. Repeat the layers.
- Finish with a layer of mascarpone and drizzle more caramel on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set. Serve chilled.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe bananas for the best flavor. You can add a splash of coffee or espresso to the mascarpone mixture for a richer flavor.
