- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped cream
- Additional Oreo chunks for topping
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a bag or food processor.
- Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter to form the crust.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and light.
- Add some Oreo chunks into the mixture for extra flavor.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the pan.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 240 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set.
- Top with additional Oreo chunks if desired before serving.
Notes
For a thicker crust, add more crushed Oreos or reduce the melted butter. Customize toppings with chocolate shavings or caramel sauce.
