Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, and black beans.
- Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot, garnished with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add more chili powder or chopped jalapeños. Great with cornbread or tortilla chips.
