- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
- Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips if you like for an extra chocolatey treat.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares.
