Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on each side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy your warm beignets!

Serve warm and dusted with powdered sugar. Pairs well with coffee or hot chocolate. Can add different flavors like almond extract or citrus zest.
